Bequests
Please consider a gift to Student/Partner Alliance in your estate planning. Bequests to support Student/Partner Alliance can be made through your will or adding a codicil that specifies: Student/Partner Alliance, 561 Springfield Ave. Summit NJ. 07901 tax ID: 52-184 0944 as the beneficiary of a specific dollar amount, or all or a percentage of the remainder of your estate after all other obligations (a residuary bequest).
Examples:
• I give Student/Partner Alliance, a nonprofit organization located at 561 Springfield Ave, Summit, NJ (tax ID: 52-184 0944) the sum of $100,000 from my estate for general purposes/for scholarships.
• I give to Student/Partner Alliance, a nonprofit organization located at 561 Springfield Ave. Summit, NJ (tax ID 52-184 0944) 10% of my estate for general purposes/for scholarships.
Gifts of Securities
Gifts of appreciated securities may have tax advantages for you. Please contact mmomber@studentpartneralliance.org for our account number and wire instructions.
Retirement Assets
You can list Student/Partner Alliance as beneficiary for all or part of your retirement plan benefits on your beneficiary form, provided by your plan administrator. No federal income tax is due on the funds that pass to Student/Partner Alliance and no federal estate tax is due on these funds.
If you are age 70½ or older by the end of 2019, have traditional IRAs, and particularly if you can’t itemize your deductions, please consider making a charitable donation to Student/Partner Alliance via qualified charitable distributions (QCD) from your IRAs.
Life Insurance
You could make Student/Partner Alliance a beneficiary of a policy.
Donor Advised Funds
You can name Student/Partner Alliance as the beneficiary/successor of the Account.
