Graduates/Alumni College Guideline

Freshman Year

  • Apply to America Needs You (ANY) – check out the website by clicking here and apply to become a fellow which will give you access to scholarships, a mentor, and internship opportunities.  Learn more about the application process by clicking here.
  • Join our holiday party each January as an alumni to come back and see your old friends and mentor.

 

Sophomore Year

  • Create a LinkedIn account and complete it as thoroughly as possible.  This will help you when you start the job searching process. Connect with the S/PA LinkedIn page to make it easy to keep in touch and to see any job posts that we may share in the future.
  • Create a resume or CV.  Feel free to reach out to your Student/Partner Alliance mentor for guidance and questions.
  • Work through the ANY program if accepted.
  • Reach out to your old mentor to keep in touch.
  • Apply for summer internship opportunities.
  • Join our holiday party each January as an alumni to come back and see your old friends and mentor.

 

Junior Year

  • Complete the second year of the ANY program.
  • Apply to become a mentor at the Student/Partner Alliance (S/PA).  You can find the application here.
  • Apply for summer internship opportunities.
  • Update your resume or CV.
  • Join our holiday party each January as an alumni to come back and see your old friends and mentor.

 

Senior Year

  • Reach out to your S/PA mentor to update them on your progress in college.
  • Apply for graduate school or career opportunities.
  • Attend S/PA Young Professional Network happy hours (age 21 and older).
  • Join our holiday party each January as an alumni to come back and see your old friends and mentor.
